Who are you?
We're Peach Princess, a company that's bringing you
the best adult "pretty girl" anime-style games and related bishoujo
products that you've ever seen!
I know that Japanese erotica often has "mosaic"
as one method to adhere to Japanese laws regarding depicting explicit
sexual details. Do your games contain "mosaic"?
Normally, no*. Our titles are normally "uncensored"
by the original Japanese artists. They supervise removing any mosaic and
redrawing any details as they deem necessary for a Western release.
What shipping methods
do you offer?
We offer many types of shipping methods! Most of our
customers prefer the value and convenience of either USPS First Class
or USPS Priority (for domestic orders) or Airmail (for international orders.)
How are your products
packaged?
All games will come in DVD-style packaging. Shipping
packages are normally either plain padded mailers or Priority Mail packages,
with no indication of the contents (although international orders do have
a customs form attached.)
Where are you located?
We're based in San Diego, California. Our mailing address
is
Peach Princess

I want to stay informed about your products.
What can I do?
Please add yourself to our Peach Princess Press Updates
mailing list! We'll send out periodical news and updates when new products
are announced or shipping, as well as other news about us or the bishoujo
market in general. Since we value your privacy, we never share your email
address with any third parties under any circumstances.
Is it safe to submit
my credit card?
Absolutely! The Peach Princess site uses industry-standard
SSL encryption so your credit card and other information is safe from
prying eyes.
How is my credit card billed?
Your statement will read "Peach Princess."
I still don't want to submit my credit card
over the Internet. Can I send in an order via mail or fax?
Absolutely! Please use our fax/voice mail line at (619)
839-3745. Please be sure to give us a valid email address, or we can't
contact you about your order.
I don't have a credit card. How can I buy?
Check/money order payment is perfectly welcome, and
in special situations, it's permissable to send cash as well (although
please be very careful when sending). To order via any of these methods,
click the "buy now" buttons normally, and choose the correct
payment option after you enter your address.
Do you accept international
orders?
Yes, gladly. Please note that, depending on the country
you're ordering from, we may ask for a scan or fax copy of your credit
card (both sides) and ID. Our products cannot be shipped to Japan as they
are only licensed for sale outside of Japan.
Please note that 18+ anime games may conflict with
the national or local laws of the country or community where you are located.
Please be aware of and follow all applicable local laws. While we cannot
take responsibility for items seized by customs, we are very flexible,
and can fill any special shipping requests you may have (including gift-wrapping*,
hand-writing labels, and so on).
Can I link to your
site?
Certainly! Please use any of the banners below or
simply use an HTML text link. Please be sure to link to our main external
page, http://www.peachprincess.com, and not to an internal page. This
helps to prevent minors from accessing the site unintentionally.
Are your games available
for console systems or non-Windows PC systems?
The short answer to this question is "no".
However, the reasons for this are somewhat complex. We offer some detailed
information below, for those who might be interested.
The question about console machines is actually one for the hardware makers
of the console machines - Sony, Microsoft, etc. They have decided that
they do not want adult products on their consoles, although you can still
play adult DVDs on a DVD-compatible console machine, of course.
In Japan, there are many non-adult bishoujo games made for console machines,
including games that originally were made as adult titles for the Windows
format. These games have not been offered to the English world, so it
would be logical to assume that it is not only the adult nature of PC
bishoujo games that is preventing console companies from offering bishoujo
game products. They tend to follow consumer demand - if they see a large
consumer demand for bishoujo games, they will probably make an effort
to answer that demand. It's still a decision for the console makers rather
than an independent company, though, because they control what products
are offered for their hardware.
It's important to consider demohttp://www.peachprincess.com/graphics and how the electronic gaming
market has evolved. Today, roughly 2/3 of electronic games are purchased
for console machines. However, 2/3 of PC software is purchased by adults,
and the vast majority of electronic game purchases in general are also
made by adults. What has occurred within the market is that it has evolved
to where both consumers and companies are content to allow console machines
to be "for kids and family" while PCs are "for adults".
Since used PCs are so inexpensive today (about the cost of a console system)
and the bishoujo games stress story, characterization, content, etc rather
than hardware technical effects, the console companies and consumers seem
to feel that adult game products are best left to PCs, even if that means
buying a used PC simply to play adult games.
The question about non-Windows OS PC systems has a similar answer and
somewhat similar reasoning. Basically, there isn't a big enough market
for games of any kind being placed on other OSes, with very few exceptions.
Even in Japan, games very seldom get made for non-Windows OSes. That's
especially true for adult games, even if the actual artwork might be developed
on a Macintosh (for example). Once again, the consumers and the companies
seem to feel that it is better to allow adult games to be a Windows-only
item, for the most part, and to buy a used PC to play them on, if need
be.
An interesting side note to all of this is that adult bishoujo games originally
began on console machines in 1982, and it was not until the mid- to late-1990's
that they became a Windows product.
